Farmers are the backbone of our food, fuel and fiber supply. We all rely on them to sustain our world. With the world population expected to reach 10B by 2050, increasing food demand by 50%, a farmer’s job is even more important. Every day, they face challenges—such as extreme variability, complicated and time-sensitive decision making and a decreasing labor pool. However, technology such as AI—like machine learning and computer vision—robotics, sensors, and more give each plant the best chance at success and help farmers do more with less to feed our growing population.
