AI and Machine Learning: A Must-Have for 5G/6G Wireless Connectivity and Sensor Design

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Wireless technology is booming. Emerging applications like connectivity and autonomous systems are forcing design engineers to address the management of massive amounts of machine-type sensors, increasing complexity across systems and heightening the need and expectation for quality, reliability, and flexibility of sensor networks. For design engineers, artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques need to be used. How can that be done while still able to meet the high expectations of delivering these stringent quality of service metrics? in this session, we'll discuss the design of a wireless Wi-Fi based sensing system for automated person detection in an indoor environment. Attendees will learn the development challenges, an AI-based estimation model, and workflow steps, showing how an AI model can result in satisfactory overall system performance.
