With the increase of novel viruses, and the impact seen by the Covid-19 virus, the need for public health to have access to early detection and real time monitoring of viruses, particularly novel viruses is imperative. AI is the most efficient and effective means of providing this monitoring. While AI adoption is rapidly growing in personal health with wearables and implantables, this will not scale fast enough. Public Health has a unique challenge that requires a unique solution to be deployed in high traffic public spaces.
