Cristina Rusu is Senior Expert at RISE, Research institutes of Sweden, with Ph.D. in Microtechnology (University of Twente, The Netherlands, 1998). She is Associate professor in Microtechnology at Chalmers University of Technology and Adjunct professor at Mid Sweden University with focus on sensors and renewable energy.

Her focus is on low-power sensors and energy harvesting. Cristina has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, reviewer for many international journals on sensors and energy harvester, co-inventor of 4 patents in microsystem technology, coordinator and participant in more than 40 national and EU projects.
